When contacting me for a commission slot, I will need 1) a concise description of what you want! And 2) visual references of the character(s), their outfit(s), and any non-generic elements (special weapon, creature from their canon, etc. ) being drawn. In addition to references from the source material, I encourage you to include outside references reflecting the character's body type and facial structure if the canon art style does not fit your vision for them. Specificity will help me out a lot!
I will respond with any questions I may have first. Once everything's been confirmed, I'll add your commission to the queue.
Payment
When I am ready to place your commission in my queue, I will send you an invoice via paypal. No work will be done until payment is received. If circumstances on my end require me to cancel, I will refund you in full. Otherwise, no refunds will be offered once I've started your commission.
Commission Process
As I work on your commission, progress shots will be provided at key stages. Once sent, I'll await your approval before continuing. If revisions are needed, I will send a new progress shot with the correction(s) included. Again, I will await your approval before continuing.
Mock-Up Rough silhouettes to hash out the composition. For simpler drawings, this stage is usually skipped.
Lineart Messy lines are ironed out & Anatomy is fine-tuned
Flat Color Base colors are chosen
When your commission has been completed, I will send you the final .PNG via email.
As the artist, I reserve the right to use completed commissions for advertising, include them in online galleries, and post them to social media.
Revisions
During the mock-up and sketch phases, revisions are free. Things are very loose, and therefore easy to correct. After that, it gets harder! Speaking up early is best if you're unsure about how your commission is looking. Once a piece of work has entered the lineart phase, asking me to make any major revisions or too many minor revisions will cost extra.
Examples of major revisions: an entirely different pose, an entirely different viewing angle, essentially anything that requires me to redraw or repaint a large section of a piece Examples of minor revisions: swapping one color for another, adding or changing an article of clothing, a small change to a pose such as repositioning an arm
Subject Matter
I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason, but some of the things I definitely will or will not draw are as listed.
I WILL DRAW:
I WILL NOT DRAW:
Animals
Monsters
Anthro/Furry
Fantasy Armor
Non-Sexual Nudity. The character(s) must be 18+
Character Sheets (ask for quote)
Expression sheets/Roleplay Icons (ask for quote)
NSFW *for sexually explicit work I will generally ask for +50% on top of the base price.
Gore, within limits. For instance, I would enjoy drawing a zombie with exposed bones, entrails, muscle structure, etc. But I am probably not the person to go to for a scene where a character is actively being dismembered.
Scenes containing more than 3 characters at this time.
Mecha/Robots.
Photorealism.
Hateful Artwork. Racism, Transphobia, Homophobia, etc.
Real Person Fanart Fictional characters bearing the likeness of actors are A-OK, but I'm not interested in drawing band members, youtube personalities, etc.
